Fragrance for rooms with a point of view.

Atelier Francy is an independent fragrance studio in Perth, Western Australia, creating candles, reed diffusers and interior fragrance for people who would rather their home smelled interesting than simply nice.

We are drawn to contradiction.

A floral with a little bite. Citrus pulled back to its leaves and bark. Tobacco made elegant. A fragrance that changes the temperature of a room without smelling remotely like the season it was named after.

Some scents arrive beautifully behaved. Others refuse.

That is usually where things become interesting.

Francy began with a fascination for the way scent attaches itself to places — a hotel lobby, an old desk, a garden at dusk, something baking in the next room. Our fragrances are built around those fragments: atmosphere, memory and the peculiar details that make a space feel inhabited.

Made in Perth, our collections evolve rather than remain fixed. Some fragrances stay. Some disappear. Others return differently.

Because we have never been terribly interested in making the same thing forever.
